Welcome aboard to the three newest members of Yorktown Institute’s Board of Advisors. It is an honor for us to add three officers with extensive experience, respected judgment, and demonstrated commitment to Yorktown’s mission to our already distinguished Board.
Rear Admiral Sinclair Harris served in the US Navy for 34 years and retired as Vice Director for Operations on the Joint Staff. RADM Harris is an expert in irregular warfare and is currently a vice president of client relations at LMI.
Admiral Pierre-François Forissier served for 40 years in the French Navy where he commanded France’s submarine forces and retired as Chief of the French Naval Staff. Admiral Forissier sits on the board of several French companies, is a member of the Académie de Marine, and of the French Society of the Cincinnati.
Rear Admiral Dr. Chris Parry, CBE, commanded Royal Navy combatants, the Maritime Warfare Centre, and held three other senior Joint and Ministry of Defence strategic and policy appointments. He served in combat operations in the Falklands, Northern Ireland, and the Gulf. RADM Parry runs his own strategic forecasting and troubleshooting company.
