Yorktown Institute is proud to welcome Admiral Gary Roughead (U.S. Navy, Ret.) and James A. Kraehenbuehl, Esq. to our Board of Directors.
Admiral Roughead is a former U.S. Navy Chief of Naval Operations. He is the Robert and Marion Oster Distinguished Military Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He serves on the Northrop Grumman Corporation and Maersk Line Limited boards of directors. He is a trustee of Dodge and Cox Funds, Johns Hopkins University, and a member of the Board of Managers of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
James A. Kraehenbuehl is an experienced executive and attorney from the shipbuilding industry and is the founder of Mid-Atlantic Law and Tax. Kraehenbuehl was the General Manager and General Counsel of US shipbuilder Fincantieri Marine Group LLC, the US subsidiary of the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri SpA. Prior to this, Kraehenbuehl litigated complex commercial and regulatory matters at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP.
