Gabriel Diamond, Fellow

Gabriel Diamond is a staff writer and reporter for The New York Sun and a Fellow at the Yorktown Institute. Gabriel has worked in the United States Senate, where he researched and delivered memoranda on Iranian influence in the Middle East and Iran’s relationship with Russia and China. He interned for the Hudson Institute’s Initiative on American Energy Security, during which he provided reports on geostrategic trends in energy security and the Middle East. Gabriel is a 2022 alumnus of the Hudson Institute Political Studies Fellowship, a program of intensive seminars and workshops on public policy, American politics, political philosophy, and political history.

Gabriel’s writing has been published in, among other outlets, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Hill, the Boston Globe, and National Review. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and NewsNation to offer commentary on foreign policy and higher education. Gabriel graduated from Yale University with his B.A. in political science and distinction in the major. He is proficient in Hebrew and Spanish.
