John-Clark Levin

John-Clark Levin is a researcher and author at the intersection of technology, security, and politics, with particular focus on foresight about artificial intelligence. For the past decade, he has studied AI and its impacts at Harvard and Cambridge, where he is currently finishing a PhD. He is the author, with John J. Pitney, Jr., of Private Anti-Piracy Navies: How Warships for Hire are Changing Maritime Security (Lexington Books, 2013), and his writings have appeared in publications including the Wall Street JournalWashington PostNewsweek, and MIT Technology Review.
