Ashton Earl is the Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment at The Institute of World Politics and a Research Assistant at the Yorktown Institute. He is a former legislative assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he handled defense and foreign affairs. He received his bachelor’s in national security studies from Utah Valley University, and his master’s in statecraft and international affairs from The Institute of World Politics, where he focused his research on great power competition in Africa.
