Barna Peterfi is the Research Director of Yorktown Institute. He has experience in energy and climate policy consulting and is the co-founder of an educational youth foundation. He serves as the Hungary Foundation’s Jr. Andrassy National Security Fellow and is the Chairman of its Alumni Board. He is also an alumnus of fellowship programs with the American Enterprise Institute, the Hertog Foundation and Mercatus Center. His research focuses on the geopolitics of Eurasia and the economic and strategic statecraft of BRICS. Barna holds an MA (Hons) in Politics and Russian Studies from the University of Edinburgh, where his dissertation explored the development of Eurasianist thought.
