Samuel Sanders is a Research Assistant at Yorktown Institute. He is currently an undergraduate at Yale University, majoring in history with a focus on war and society. His research interests include: China’s dual-use naval ports in the Indo-Pacific, Sino-Iranian cooperation, and American grand strategy in the twenty-first century. On campus, Sam is a research assistant for Yale’s Blue Center for Strategic Global Assessment, Editor of the East Asia Desk for the Yale Review of International Studies, and a captain on the Yale Powerlifting team. He is also pursuing studies in Chinese.
