CEMM Pierre-François Forissier (Ret.)

Admiral Pierre-François Forissier (ret.) served in the French Navy for 40 years from the Ecole Navale to Chief of the Naval Staff (CEMM), the navy’s senior officer.

As a submariner with 25.000 hours underway, he commanded two nuclear submarines (SSN and SSBN). He also served as commander of France’s submarine force (ALFOST)

After his retirement he joined the board of several French companies (CIS, HeoH and SeaProven).

He is member of the French learned society, Académie de Marine, and of the French Society of the Cincinnati.

Admiral Forissier is married to Brigitte Desbrest. Together they have four children and 12 grandchildren.
